With inspirations ranging from Hans Wegner to Kaare Klint, they themselves aim to inspire with their own design collection, whilst pioneering their own practices and design ethos: “To recognise the value in the process of how a piece of furniture is made, as well as the finished product…each piece telling a unique story of how it was made.”

In their own words they say “We make contemporary wooden furniture using traditional methods with a particular interest in vernacular forms. Our aim is to connect the tree and hand with the finished piece of furniture. Often the furniture celebrates the textures left by our hand tools and methods; we want our furniture to tell the story about how it came to be.”

Aiming to hold open workshops and exhibitions in their new workshop, their aim is to develop their workshop to be a beautiful and inviting space reflective of the high end work they themselves produce.

It goes without saying that their work is of the highest tier and not one, but two, pieces of furniture have been shortlisted for an award at this years Wood Awards. The work will be exhibited at 100% Design in confluence with London Design Festival this September.
